Savannah is a city I could travel to and never get tired of. Savannah offers rich history, culture, food, and is also a short ride from the beach.

These are my favorite things to do in Savannah:
Wormsloe State Park is a must to stop and see if you want to see the iconic Oak trees with moss.

Historic Downtown Savannah architecture is something to be admired and would recommend taking an afternoon to walk around the downtown area or take a carriage ride to enjoy the scenery of the city.

Inside the Historic Downtown area is Chippewa square famously known for the “bench scene’ in Forest Gump as is a tourist’s favorite area.

Bonventure Cemetery: It sounds strange to say that a cemetery is a must stop place to tour on a trip but they have haunted tours that are very popular. Even if you are not interested in the haunted tours it is very interesting to walk through and read the names, dates, and observe the unique head stones.

Tybee Island- I recommend taking a day to enjoy the beach just a short drive from Savannah. While there you can also visit the Tybee Island Lighthouse, Fort Pulaski and Tybean Coffee. Tybee Island is a great beach to collect sea shells too!

Prohibition Museum- the museum walks guest through a time in United States history when alcohol was illegal. This museum is set in the roaring twenties and at the end of the tour guests are able to get a drink at the “Speakeasy”

Haunted Ghost Tours of Savannah at Night- there are many different companies that do this in Savannah they are all fun. None of them are overly scary and you also get a little bit of history of Savannah with a few tall tales and some jump scares. Every trip is great to Savannah!
